A
corner kick is always a great goalscoring opportunity – but few players have
the audacity to try and score direct.
Jason
Dodd once did it for Southampton, but apart from that it’s hard to think of too
many more examples.
Still,
30-year-old Kelantan midfielder Mohd Badri bin Mohd Radzi did just that on
Tuesday evening.
The
Malaysian player struck direct from a corner against Ayeyawady United in the
Asian AFC Cup, helping his team on the way to a 3-1 victory.
Thanks
to 101greatgoals.com for bringing the goal to our attention in the first place.
